Court of the Lord King held in this place the tenth day of February in the third year of the reign of Edward VI by the grace of God King of England and Ireland, defender of the faith, and, on earth, supreme head of the church of England and Ireland
To this court comes Thomas Greve, son and heir of Arthur Greve, deceased, in his own person and gives to the Lord a fine for lawful succession to the two tofts, one close called Heycroft and thirteen acres of land and meadow with its appurtenances in Waldershelf. By their permission Thomas Greve acknowledges his habitation and occupation, his heirs and assigns for ever through services according to the custom of the manor.
After that paid yearly to the Lord to the same end sixteen pence. And it is admitted, Since then he is tenant and gives fealty and gives to the Lord a fine for entering as open possessor in chief
